Entry Level Typesetter


We are seeking an Entry Level Typesetter to join our publishing team in Bergen, Norway. As a typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for print and digital publications. This is an ideal role for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in the publishing industry.

Responsibilities:
- Use desktop publishing software to format and arrange text and images for various publications
- Ensure accuracy of layout, font, and design elements according to style guidelines
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure high-quality publications
- Proofread final layouts for errors and make necessary corrections
- Maintain consistency in design across multiple projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
This is an entry level position with a salary of 1800 USD per month.

This job is located in Bergen, Norway.
