Executive Chef - Alta, Norway



As an Executive Chef at our high-end restaurant in Alta, Norway, you will lead our culinary team in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests. We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef who can oversee the entire kitchen operations and deliver top-quality dishes.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and high-quality food production
- Develop creative menus that showcase local ingredients and cater to our diverse clientele
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain cost control to ensure profitability
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety guidelines, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to plan special events and promotions
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and culinary techniques
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with staff, suppliers, and guests
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per week for this full-time position. The salary may vary based on experience.
