As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures and surfaces using bricks, concrete blocks or natural stone. You will work with different types of materials and tools to create walls, floors, patios and other structures according to blueprints or instructions. This is a physically demanding job that requires good hand-eye coordination and strength. Previous experience is not required but is preferred. This is a contract job with a salary of 1000$ per month. Accommodation will not be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Mix and apply mortar or other adhesives to secure bricks or stones in place
- Lay out patterns or designs using string lines or templates
- Cut and shape materials using hand tools or power saws
- Repair any damaged structures or surfaces
- Follow safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Physical strength and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Knowledge of different masonry techniques and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or instructions
- Previous experience in masonry preferred but not required
