Mason - Construction Worker

A construction company in Nakuru is seeking a skilled Mason to join our team. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures made of brick, stone or concrete. You will work with a variety of tools and materials to create strong and durable structures. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in masonry, be physically fit, and have excellent attention to detail. This is an urgent position with the opportunity for long-term employment. Own visa required for non-Canadians. Salary starts at $1600 per month.

As a Mason, your responsibilities will include:

- Reading and interpreting blueprints to determine specifications
- Measuring and cutting materials to required sizes
- Laying out patterns or foundations using tools such as plumb lines and straightedges
- Mixing mortar or grout for spreading on surfaces
- Setting bricks or stones according to plans
- Repairing cracks or other damage in existing structures
- Applying finishing touches such as smoothing and polishing surfaces
