Barber - Traditional Hair Stylist


We are searching for a talented and skilled Barber to join our team in Eldoret. As a Traditional Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality haircuts and grooming services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the art of barbering and possess excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:
- Provide traditional haircuts and grooming services to clients using various tools such as scissors, clippers, and razors
- Consult with clients to understand their desired style and offer professional advice on suitable haircuts or grooming techniques
- Keep up-to-date with current trends and techniques in the barbering industry
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the barber shop
- Manage appointments and ensure timely service delivery
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional manner
- Upsell additional services or products to clients

Requirements:
- Must be a qualified Barber with at least 2 years of experience in traditional hair styling
- Excellent knowledge of various hairstyles, hair types, and grooming techniques
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Attention to detail and precision when performing haircuts or grooming services
- Knowledge of sanitation standards in a barbershop environment
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1000 per month for this position.

Location:
This job is located in Eldoret, Kenya. However, we welcome applicants of all nationalities who have the necessary qualifications and experience.

Contract Type:
This is a contract job with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Experience Level:
No prior experience is required for this position. We welcome fresh graduates who have completed formal training as barbers.

Language Requirements:
Proficiency in English is preferred but not mandatory for this position.
