A mining company in Nairobi, Kenya is seeking a skilled and experienced Miner to join our team. As a Miner, you will be responsible for operating mining equipment and machinery to extract minerals from underground mines. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Operate drilling and blasting equipment to extract minerals from underground mines
- Inspect mine walls and roofs for potential hazards
- Install support structures such as roof bolts and timber beams
- Monitor mine production to ensure efficiency and safety
- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or damages
- Follow safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Miner in an underground mine
- Physical fitness and ability to work in confined spaces
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with operating drilling and blasting equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of safety regulations in the mining industry

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1500$ per month. Other benefits such as accommodation and visa sponsorship may be provided based on experience.

Location:
This job is located in Nairobi, Kenya. Preference will be given to Indian or Canadian candidates who are fluent in English.
