Executive Pastry Chef
Our luxury hotel in Bayan is seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our team. As the Executive Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing our pastry menu, managing a team of pastry chefs, and ensuring the highest quality of pastries and desserts for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement an innovative pastry menu that meets the needs of our diverse clientele
- Oversee all aspects of the pastry kitchen, including ordering ingredients, managing inventory, and maintaining equipment
- Train and mentor a team of pastry chefs to ensure consistency and excellence in all pastries and desserts
- Collaborate with other chefs to create unique dessert offerings for special events and promotions
- Monitor food costs and maintain budget for the pastry department
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a luxury hotel or restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in pastry arts
- Strong knowledge of different baking techniques, including breads, cakes, pastries, and chocolates
- Ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining high standards of quality
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Fluent in English
Salary: $1700/month (negotiable based on experience)
