Body Repair Master
Are you a skilled and experienced body repair specialist looking for a new challenge? Our busy auto body shop in Washington is seeking a Body Repair Master to join our team. As a Body Repair Master, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring the body of damaged vehicles to their original condition. This includes performing various techniques such as welding, sanding, painting, and working with various materials. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the extent of repairs needed
- Perform body repair work using various tools and techniques
- Welding, sanding, painting, and working with different materials
- Ensure all repairs are completed to meet safety standards
- Communicate with customers about the status of their vehicle repairs
- Keep track of inventory and order supplies when needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years experience in body repair work
- Certification in auto body repair preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of different repair techniques and materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Valid driver's license
