Carpenter - Al Ahmadi, Kuwait


As a Carpenter at our construction company in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. Your duties will include measuring and cutting materials, reading blueprints and following building plans, preparing and assembling materials to build structures such as walls, floors, roofs, doorframes and windows. You may also be required to install cabinets and molding.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Carpenter or relevant trade experience
- Proficient in using hand and power tools such as saws, drills, hammers etc.
- Ability to read blueprints and building plans
- Strong knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail with good mathematical skills

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut materials according to specifications
- Build structures such as walls, floors, roofs etc. using various carpentry techniques
- Install cabinets and molding according to instructions
- Inspect wooden structures for damages or defects and make necessary repairs
- Use hand tools or power tools to shape wood into desired form or size
- Follow safety rules while working on construction sites
