Information Security Analyst - Acre, Israel



We are hiring an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Acre, Israel. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our company's sensitive information and ensuring compliance with all security policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for conducting regular security audits, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and implementing necessary security measures to mitigate risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information security principles and protocols, as well as experience with security tools and technologies. This is a contract position that does not require English proficiency or provide accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement information security policies and procedures
- Conduct regular security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious behavior
- Investigate and resolve any reported security breaches
- Stay up-to-date on the latest information security trends and developments
- Work closely with other departments to ensure compliance with all security protocols
- Train employees on proper handling of sensitive information and best practices for data protection
- Evaluate new technologies for potential security risks and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in information security analysis or related role
- Strong understanding of information security principles and protocols (e.g. encryption, firewalls)
- Experience with various operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux)
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g. Wireshark)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- CISSP or other relevant certifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR)

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 900$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Acre, Israel. However, we are open to candidates of any nationality as long as they are legally authorized to work in Israel.
