Back-End Developer


We are hiring a skilled Back-End Developer to join our growing team in Atlanta. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side of our web applications. Your primary focus will be to ensure the high performance and responsiveness of our applications while also collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements into the applications.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side code for web applications
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements into application
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Create and maintain technical documentation for all development projects
- Stay updated on emerging industry trends and technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby on Rails
- Strong understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms such as LESS or SASS
- Experience working with databases such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git or SVN
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Knowledge of AWS or other cloud computing platforms

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Atlanta (open to remote work)
Employment type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
