We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Scientist in the field of computer vision to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As a research scientist, you will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research in the areas of image and video analysis, machine learning, and computer vision. You will work closely with our team of engineers and researchers to develop innovative solutions for real-world problems.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting research in the areas of image and video analysis, machine learning, and computer vision.
- Developing algorithms and models for various computer vision tasks such as object detection, tracking, segmentation, and recognition.
- Implementing and testing new ideas and approaches on real-world datasets.
- Collaborating with other researchers and engineers to develop solutions that meet project requirements.
- Writing technical reports and presenting research findings to internal teams and external clients.
Requirements:
- Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science or related field with a strong focus on computer vision.
- 2+ years of experience in conducting research in the field of computer vision.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Solid understanding of image processing techniques and algorithms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with large-scale datasets for computer vision tasks.
- Publications in top-tier conferences or journals related to computer vision.
- Familiarity with biometric passport technology.
Salary:
