Executive Chef


As an Executive Chef at a prestigious resort in Ar-Ruwais, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and culinary operations. Your primary objective will be to provide high-quality and innovative cuisine that exceeds guest expectations while also managing and training a team of culinary professionals.

Responsibilities:
- Create and implement menus that showcase the best of local and international cuisine
- Ensure consistency and quality in all food preparations
- Manage inventory, budgeting, and cost control for the kitchen
- Train, develop, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Oversee food purchasing and storage to maintain freshness and minimize waste
- Collaborate with restaurant managers to ensure smooth operations between the kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen at all times
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu offerings
- Handle any guest complaints or special requests related to food service

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Experience creating menus that incorporate local ingredients while also catering to international tastes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, train, and inspire a team of culinary professionals
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Proven track record in managing budgets, inventory, cost control, and purchasing for a kitchen operation
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
