Executive Chef - French Cuisine
We are seeking a skilled Executive Chef with a passion for French cuisine to join our team at our upscale restaurant in the beautiful city of La Condamine. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, creating and executing menus, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute menus that showcase the best of French cuisine, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production and service
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including portion control, cooking techniques, and plating presentations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests
- Continuously strive to improve menu offerings, kitchen processes, and overall restaurant operations
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into menu development
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment specializing in French cuisine
- Extensive knowledge of French cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and ingredients
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Proficiency in menu development and cost control strategies
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1200 per month for this full-time position. Additional benefits may be negotiated based on experience.
Location:
Our restaurant is located in the charming city of La Condamine. While we welcome applicants from all nationalities, fluency in French is preferred due to our focus on French cuisine.
