Executive Chef
We are in search of an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team at our restaurant in La-Condamine. As the head of our culinary department, you will be responsible for creating and executing menus, overseeing kitchen operations, and managing a team of chefs.
Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and high-quality menus that meet the expectations of our guests
- Oversee all kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Manage inventory and ensure proper storage and rotation of food items
- Train and mentor junior chefs to maintain high standards in the kitchen
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth flow of operations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or sous chef in a high-end restaurant
- Excellent culinary skills with a creative approach to menu planning
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Understanding of food cost control measures
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
