Cashier for International Supermarket in Lusail, Qatar

We are hiring a Cashier to join our international supermarket located in Lusail, Qatar. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer purchases accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong math skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist with their purchases
- Scan and process items accurately using the cash register or handheld scanner
- Accept payments from customers in the form of cash, credit cards, or other approved methods
- Issue receipts and change to customers as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management when items need to be restocked

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred
- Strong math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (knowledge of Nepali language is a plus)
- Must be legally eligible to work in Qatar
