Junior Data Analyst (Contract) - Bergen, Norway


We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking for a career change to join our team as a Junior Data Analyst on a contract basis in Bergen, Norway. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced data analysts and other team members to support the analysis and interpretation of data for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing large datasets using various tools and methods
- Conduct data cleaning, validation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with team members to identify trends, patterns, and insights from the data
- Prepare reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Support the development of data models and algorithms to improve data analysis processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex datasets
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with programming languages such as Python or R
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
This is an entry-level position with a salary of $1500 per month. As this is a contract role, there are no additional benefits provided.

Location:
The position is based in Bergen, Norway. Candidates must be willing to relocate if not currently residing in Bergen.

Visa and Ticket:
We offer free visa sponsorship for international candidates who meet all necessary requirements. However, we do not provide relocation assistance or cover travel expenses for candidates outside of Norway.
