Senior Accountant
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of our company and ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. This is a full-time position without accommodation, so we are looking for someone who already has their own visa to work in Norway.

Responsibilities:
- Managing all aspects of the company's financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Overseeing the preparation of financial statements and ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Conducting regular audits to identify any discrepancies or errors
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure financial information is accurate and up-to-date
- Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and ensure compliance
- Providing guidance and support to junior accounting staff

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Accountant, preferably in a senior role
- Knowledge of Norwegian accounting regulations and tax laws
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks or SAP)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements
