Light Driver - Malindi, Kenya


We are seeking a reliable and experienced Light Driver to join our team in Malindi. As a Light Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining our company vehicle, as well as ensuring timely transportation of goods and passengers to various destinations in Malindi.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate our company vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations
- Transport goods and passengers to specified locations within Malindi
- Maintain the cleanliness and regular maintenance of the vehicle
- Keep accurate records of mileage and fuel consumption for reporting purposes
- Adhere to assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients to coordinate transportation needs
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Light Driver or similar role
- Familiarity with the roads, routes, and traffic rules in Malindi
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects if needed

Salary:
As a full-time employee, you will receive a monthly salary of 1200$.

Working Hours:
This is a full-time job, working 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday. Some flexibility may be required based on business needs.

This position does not offer visa sponsorship. Candidates must have their own valid work permit or visa for employment in Kenya.

Qualifications:
This position is open to candidates who have graduated from high school or equivalent. Previous experience as a light driver is preferred but not required.
