Part-Time Back-End Developer in Braga, Portugal


We are searching for a talented Part-Time Back-End Developer to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the server-side applications and databases that power our website and web applications. You will work closely with our Front-End Developers to ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end components. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python or Ruby, as well as experience with databases and server-side frameworks. This is a part-time position with flexible hours and an attractive salary of 1100$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Develop server-side logic to ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end
- Design and implement data storage solutions using databases such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Collaborate with Front-End Developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Implement security and data protection measures
- Troubleshoot issues reported by users and provide timely solutions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby
- Experience working with databases (MySQL, MongoDB) and server-side frameworks (Node.js, Django)
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript is a plus
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
