Entry Level Mason

As an entry level mason, you will work under the guidance of experienced masons to learn and perform various tasks related to masonry work. In this role, you will assist in preparing and laying bricks, stones or other materials to construct or repair walls, floors, patios, chimneys and other structures. You will also help with mixing and applying mortar, cutting and shaping bricks or stones, and cleaning up job sites.

To excel in this role, you must have a keen eye for detail and good hand-eye coordination. Physical strength and stamina are also important as this job requires lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods of time. Prior experience in construction or masonry is not required but would be considered a plus.
