Construction Project Manager
As a Construction Project Manager, your main responsibility will be to oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects in the city of Bergen. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects within budget and on schedule, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This position is suitable for men who have their own visa and do not require accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring that deadlines are met
- Manage project budgets and costs, including negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers
- Oversee hiring and management of construction workers, ensuring a skilled and efficient team
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
- Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on project progress
- Troubleshoot issues or delays in the construction process and provide solutions
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality control
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction methods
- Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively lead a team
- Proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Must have own visa for working in Bergen
