Milling Machine Operator


We are in need of a skilled Milling Machine Operator to join our team in Mombasa. As a Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating milling machines to produce precision parts. You must have experience with CNC and manual milling machines, as well as the ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines to produce parts according to specifications
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machine setup and tooling requirements
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy of parts
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, making adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished parts for quality, ensuring they meet all specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating CNC and manual milling machines
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
- Good physical stamina for standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy materials if required

Salary:
1600$ per month

Location:
Mombasa, Kenya (Preference for Filipino candidates)

Contract Type:
Contract job with possibility of extension or conversion to permanent employment
