Instrument Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install new instruments and control systems according to specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance on instruments and control systems
- Troubleshoot technical issues with instruments and control systems
- Repair or replace faulty components as needed
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure efficient operation of instruments and control systems

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Salary: 1700$ per month

Location: Bergen, Norway (with accommodation provided)
