Heavy Equipment Operator

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment, such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders. Your primary duties will include loading and unloading materials, moving earth and other materials, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times
- Load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles
- Move earth, materials, or other objects using equipment controls
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks effectively
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during operation
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of work area

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or similar setting
- Valid biometric passport (or ability to obtain one)
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or other technical documents
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment

Salary: $1400 per month (contract position)

Location: Herzliya, Kenya (accommodation not provided)
