Position: Pastry Chef
Location: Lom, Bulgaria
We are seeking an experienced and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in the beautiful city of Lom, Bulgaria. Our ideal candidate is a skilled professional with a passion for creating delicious and visually stunning desserts.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, including cakes, cookies, pies, and breads
- Develop new recipes and menu items while keeping up with current food trends
- Ensure all pastries are consistently made to the highest quality standards
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies to maintain cost control
- Train and supervise junior pastry cooks in pastry preparation techniques
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to create cohesive menus and dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized institution preferred
- Knowledge of various baking techniques and methods for creating different types of pastries
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Creativity and artistic ability when it comes to plating desserts
- Fluent in English (Bulgarian language skills are a plus)
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1200 per month based on experience.
