Dishwasher - Seasonal


We are in need of a hardworking and dedicated Dishwasher to join our team for a seasonal position in the beautiful city of Lisbon. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are washed and sanitized according to health and safety standards. This is a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Load, run, and unload dishwashing machine with dirty dishes, utensils, pots, and pans
- Hand wash delicate items that cannot be washed by machine
- Ensure all items are properly cleaned, sanitized, and dried before putting them away
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down countertops, and taking out trash
- Assist with food prep as needed
- Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely washing of dishes during busy periods

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or kitchen assistant preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds
- Knowledge of proper sanitation procedures for cleaning dishes and kitchen equipment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a team environment
