Entry-Level Dishwasher in Lisbon



A busy restaurant in Lisbon is seeking an Entry-Level Dishwasher to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the food service industry. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. You will also assist with basic food preparation tasks and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the kitchen.

Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwashing equipment
- Sort and stack clean dishes appropriately
- Assist with basic food preparation such as chopping vegetables and preparing sauces
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces
- Empty trash and recycling bins regularly
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and well-maintained

Requirements:
- No prior experience required
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in Lisbon without accommodation
