Blast Furnace Operator



We are seeking a skilled Blast Furnace Operator to join our team in Malindi, Pakistan. As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring the blast furnace process, ensuring the efficient production of iron and steel.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the blast furnace process including charging, tapping, and slag removal
- Adjust and control furnace temperature, pressure, and gas flow to maintain optimal production levels
- Monitor and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to prevent downtime
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on blast furnace equipment
- Record accurate data on production levels, equipment performance, and any issues encountered during operations
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Blast Furnace Operator or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Physically fit with the ability to work in a hot and physically demanding environment
- Good communication skills with the ability to work well in a team setting
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays if required

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1300 per month with potential for bonuses based on performance.

This position is open to all nationalities but preference will be given to individuals currently residing in Pakistan.

English Requirement:
Basic English proficiency is required for this position.
