Head Chef
As the Head Chef at our high-end restaurant in Multan, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations. You will lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional service and quality food to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that are innovative, seasonal, and meet the restaurant's standards
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, presentation, and portion control to ensure consistent quality
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, sanitation practices, and safety procedures
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Manage kitchen budget and control costs without compromising on quality
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new concepts, menu items, and promotions
- Continuously strive for improvement in food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, ingredients, and plating presentations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a diverse team
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Creativity and passion for creating unique dishes that appeal to customers
- Understanding of food cost control measures
- Knowledge of health codes and regulations
