Formwork Specialist

We are hiring a skilled Formwork Specialist to join our team in Svalbard. As a Formwork Specialist, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling temporary structures that support concrete during construction projects. Your main responsibilities will include preparing and setting up formwork, ensuring the stability and safety of the structure, and removing the formwork after the concrete has set.

To excel in this role, you should possess strong knowledge of construction techniques and materials, as well as excellent manual dexterity. You should also have experience in reading blueprints and following technical instructions.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up formwork based on project specifications
- Ensure the stability and safety of formwork during construction
- Remove formwork after concrete has set
- Inspect and maintain formwork equipment for safety purposes
- Read blueprints and follow technical instructions accurately
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Formworker or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of construction techniques and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions accurately
- Excellent manual dexterity with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks

Preferred:
- Relevant certification or training in Formworking or Carpentry
