Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (Al Ahmadi, Kuwait)
We are seeking a skilled Executive Chef to lead our team in creating authentic and delicious Indian cuisine at our restaurant located in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for Indian cuisine and extensive experience in leading a kitchen team.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee the preparation of all menu items, ensuring that they are made with high-quality ingredients and presented attractively
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Create new dishes and update existing menus to keep up with current food trends
- Manage inventory and ordering of food supplies, ensuring that stock levels are maintained
- Ensure that all food safety standards and regulations are followed at all times
- Monitor food costs and work to keep them within budget without compromising on quality
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for increasing revenue and improving customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership role in an Indian cuisine kitchen
- Extensive knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Ability to create unique and innovative dishes while also maintaining traditional flavors
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of food safety regulations and ability to implement proper procedures
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Salary:
1600$ per month (tax-free) plus performance bonuses

Al Ahmadi, Kuwait
Preference:
This position is open to candidates of any nationality. However, preference will be given to candidates who are familiar with Indian cuisine.

This position does not include accommodation. However, assistance can be provided in finding suitable housing.
Additional Requirements:
Candidates must have a valid biometric passport.
Education:
A degree or diploma in culinary arts or a related field is preferred, but not required.
