Foreign Librarian in Riyadh


We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Foreign Librarian to join our team in Riyadh. As a foreign librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, providing reference services, and promoting literacy and reading culture within the community.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize the library's collection of books, periodicals, and other materials
- Develop and implement programs to promote literacy and reading culture among the community
- Provide reference services to library patrons, including assisting with research inquiries and locating materials
- Collaborate with other librarians to plan and execute events such as book clubs, author talks, and workshops
- Keep up-to-date with new trends and technologies in library management
- Train and supervise library staff members
- Maintain accurate records of library materials, circulation, and usage statistics
- Ensure that the library's facilities are well-maintained and conducive for learning

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience working as a librarian in a similar setting
- Strong knowledge of cataloging systems, database management, and information retrieval methods
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Experience working with diverse communities
- Passion for promoting literacy and reading culture

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1400$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Riyadh. However, we welcome applicants from any nationality who are willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia.
