Entry Level Software Tester



We are hiring an Entry Level Software Tester to join our team in Washington. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for identifying and reporting software issues, as well as conducting various tests to ensure the quality of our software products. This is a contract position suitable for individuals without prior experience in software testing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and automated tests on different software applications
- Identify and report any bugs or issues found during testing
- Collaborate with developers and project managers to resolve identified issues
- Develop and maintain test cases and documentation
- Participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred:
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium
- Basic understanding of programming languages such as Java or Python
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Certification in software testing (ISTQB, CSTE, etc.)

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Washington, but remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.
