Civil Engineer

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Svalbard. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of various structures and infrastructures. Your main goal will be to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and adhere to all safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and planning construction projects, including roads, buildings, bridges, and other structures
- Conducting feasibility studies and site investigations
- Preparing cost estimates for materials, equipment, and labor
- Overseeing the progress of projects and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Coordinating with architects, contractors, and other professionals involved in the construction process
- Ensuring that all projects comply with safety regulations and quality standards
- Resolving any issues or delays that may arise during construction
- Providing technical advice and support to project teams
- Maintaining accurate records of project progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or civil engineering
- Extensive knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D
- Strong understanding of construction principles, building codes, and safety regulations
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Salary: $1700 per month

This is a full-time position without accommodation provided. However, we can assist in finding suitable housing options if needed.
