Junior Merchandiser


We are hiring a Junior Merchandiser to join our team in the US. As a Junior Merchandiser, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of product purchases, pricing, and promotions to drive sales and increase profitability. This is a contract position with a salary of $1300 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating merchandise plans based on market trends, customer demand, and company goals
- Collaborate with buyers to select products that align with company strategy
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust orders as needed
- Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends and competitor strategies
- Assist in negotiating prices with vendors to ensure competitive pricing for customers
- Develop promotional strategies and oversee product promotions
- Collaborate with marketing department to create effective product displays and advertisements
- Monitor sales performance and provide analysis to identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
- Prior experience in retail or merchandising preferred but not required
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations based on findings
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment
