We are seeking a skilled and experienced Back-End Developer to join our team in Kaunas, Lithuania on a contract basis. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient and scalable server-side applications to support our web and mobile platforms. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to develop high-quality software solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side code for web and mobile applications
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development or in production environments
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer
- Strong knowledge of server-side programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
- Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g. Hibernate)
- Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$, without accommodation provided. All nationalities are welcome to apply. Fluency in English is not required but is considered an asset.
