Instrument Technician
As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial processes. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and preventing any disruptions to production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain various instruments such as pressure gauges, transmitters, flow meters, and temperature sensors
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments and control systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on instruments to ensure their accuracy and reliability
- Interpret technical drawings and manuals to understand instrument specifications
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to identify and implement solutions for complex instrument issues
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities performed on instruments
- Identify potential hazards related to instrumentation and take appropriate safety measures
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in instrumentation technology
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Diploma or certificate in Instrumentation Technology or a related field
- Knowledge of various types of instruments used in industrial processes
- Familiarity with electrical circuits and wiring diagrams
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Physical stamina to work in challenging environments
Salary: $1300 per month
Location: Clairvaux, France (African or Malayalee candidates preferred)
