Experienced Carpenter

We are a contracting company based in Washington, seeking an experienced carpenter to join our team. As a carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. This is a contract position with a salary of $1000 per week.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine project specifications
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to the project plans
- Cut, shape, and smooth materials using hand or power tools
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
- Repair or replace damaged or rotted parts using hand tools or power tools
- Inspect existing structures for damage or deterioration and make necessary repairs
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a carpenter in residential or commercial projects
- Proficient in reading blueprints and drawings
- Skilled in using hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have own visa to work in the United States
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
