Facade Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facade Engineer to join our team in Bergen. As a Facade Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining the exterior building envelope. This includes selecting appropriate materials, assessing structural integrity, and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing facade systems for new construction projects
- Evaluating existing facade systems for renovations or repairs
- Selecting appropriate materials based on performance, aesthetics, and budget
- Conducting structural analysis to ensure safety and durability of facade systems
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop design solutions
- Preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
- Overseeing the installation of facade systems and conducting site inspections
- Ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations
- Conducting research on new materials and technologies for improved performance
- Providing technical support to clients during the design and construction process

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in facade design or construction
- Proficient in structural analysis software such as ETABS or SAP2000
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to facades
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team

Salary: $1700 per month with visa sponsorship available for non-EU candidates.
