Facade Designer


We are in search of a skilled and creative Facade Designer to join our team in Bergen. As a Facade Designer, you will be responsible for designing and creating aesthetically pleasing and functional facades for buildings and structures. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that the facade meets all design and safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop facade designs that are both functional and visually appealing.
- Use specialized software to create 2D and 3D models of facades.
- Conduct site visits to assess the feasibility of proposed designs and make necessary adjustments.
- Create detailed drawings, specifications, and material lists for fabrication.
- Select appropriate materials for the facade based on budget, durability, and aesthetic considerations.
- Ensure that all designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Monitor the progress of facade construction to ensure that it aligns with the design plans.
- Make necessary revisions to designs based on feedback from clients or project managers.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Facade Designer in a similar role.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
- Strong understanding of building materials, construction methods, and building codes.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles preferred.
