Senior JAVA Developer

As a Senior JAVA Developer in our Svalbard office, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex software solutions using Java programming language. You will work closely with our team of developers to create and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient applications that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, coding, and testing software applications using Java
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to determine project requirements and develop solutions
- Troubleshooting issues and providing technical support for existing applications
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation
- Staying up-to-date with new technologies and industry developments

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a JAVA Developer
- Strong understanding of object-oriented principles
- Extensive knowledge of Java programming language and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate)
- Experience with database design and SQL
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience developing web-based applications using Java EE technologies (Servlets, JSP)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Good communication skills
