Handyman for Property Management Company in Malindi, Kenya


We are seeking a skilled Handyman to join our property management team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various properties under our management. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month, along with accommodations and visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry
- Inspect properties regularly to identify and address any issues or repairs needed
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for larger repairs or projects
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance work performed
- Respond promptly to tenant requests for repairs or maintenance issues
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of common areas in properties
- Ensure all properties are up to code and meet safety regulations

Requirements:
- Prior experience as a handyman or in a similar role
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills to interact with tenants, contractors, and colleagues
- Physical stamina for lifting heavy objects and performing manual labor
- Must be willing to live on-site at one of our properties in Malindi

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in property management or facilities maintenance
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Fluency in English
- Familiarity with Indian culture
