Database Administrator

We are hiring a skilled Database Administrator to manage and maintain our company's databases. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database structure, data management and security, as well as experience with SQL and other database languages.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Develop and implement backup and recovery plans for data protection
- Create and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions
- Collaborate with development teams to design new databases or modify existing ones for improved functionality
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular audits and maintenance routines
- Stay up-to-date with new database technologies and implement best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
- Experience with SQL queries and stored procedures
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, security protocols, and disaster recovery procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
