Architectural Technologist
An architectural technologist is responsible for assisting architects in the design, planning, and construction of buildings. They use their technical expertise to translate design concepts into detailed plans and drawings, ensuring that the project meets all building regulations and codes. The ideal candidate for this role will have a degree in architecture or a related field, as well as strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with architects to develop design concepts and plans
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed drawings and models
- Research and apply building codes and regulations to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project
- Prepare construction documents and specifications
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and address any issues that may arise
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in technology, and changes in building codes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Strong technical skills with the ability to create accurate drawings and models
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Location: Lisbon (Portugal)
Salary: 900$ per month
Note: This position does not require prior experience or provide accommodation. However, candidates who have completed internships or have some experience in a related field will be preferred.
