Executive Chef for Indian Cuisine in Ashdod, Israel
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our team in creating authentic and delicious Indian cuisine in Ashdod, Israel. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring high-quality dishes are consistently served.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative and authentic Indian menus that appeal to our customers
- Oversee food preparation and cooking methods to ensure dishes are prepared correctly and efficiently
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure all food safety standards are met at all times
- Monitor food costs and work within budget constraints
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in Indian cuisine
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting specializing in Indian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Ability to lead a team and work well under pressure
- Excellent time management skills
- Good understanding of food cost control principles
- Fluent in English (Hebrew or Hindi is a plus)
