Shaper - Woodworking Specialist (Indian/African candidates preferred)


We are in need of a skilled Shaper to join our woodworking team in Osijek. As a Shaper, you will be responsible for shaping and molding wood pieces into various forms and designs. This is a physically demanding role that requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or design plans to determine the shape and dimensions of the wood pieces
- Operate shaping machines such as table saws, routers, planers, and sanders
- Select appropriate cutting tools for each project and adjust them as needed for precision
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality of cuts
- Inspect wood pieces for defects or imperfections before and after shaping process
- Smooth rough edges or surfaces using hand tools or sandpaper
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shaper in a woodworking environment
- Proficiency in using various shaping machines and hand tools
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Physical dexterity and strength to operate machinery for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail with strong visual-spatial skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in carpentry or woodworking is a plus
