Preservation Architect
Our architectural firm is seeking a talented Preservation Architect to join our team in Siauliai, Lithuania. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, while also ensuring they meet modern safety and functionality standards. This is a full-time position that offers a salary of 1400$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on the history and design of historic buildings and structures
- Create detailed preservation plans that meet the requirements of local and national preservation guidelines
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the preservation work is executed properly
- Oversee the restoration process to ensure it meets all safety and quality standards
- Stay up-to-date on new preservation techniques and technologies
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all preservation projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in preservation architecture or similar role
- Strong understanding of historical architecture styles, materials, and construction techniques
- Knowledge of local and national preservation guidelines and regulations
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at once
- Proficient in CAD software and other relevant design tools
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
