Arabic Typesetter


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Arabic Typesetter to join our publishing team in St-Petersburg. As an Arabic Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and typesetting various publications in Arabic, including books, magazines, and marketing materials. This is a part-time position that offers flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities:
- Use specialized software to format and typeset various publications in Arabic
- Ensure the accuracy of text, images, and layout according to the original copy
- Collaborate with editors and designers to ensure high-quality end products
- Follow established style guidelines for consistency across all publications
- Proofread final layouts for any errors or inconsistencies
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality

Requirements:
- Native speaker of Egyptian or Canadian Arabic with excellent knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Proficiency in using typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency throughout a publication
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Previous typesetting experience is preferred but not required
