Typesetter for Print Media in St. Petersburg, Russia

We are hiring a skilled Typesetter to join our team in St. Petersburg, Russia. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for print media such as books, magazines, and newspapers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Use specialized typesetting software to layout text and images according to design specifications
- Collaborate with graphic designers and editors to ensure visual consistency and accuracy of content
- Proofread final layouts to ensure correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Make necessary adjustments to layout based on feedback from clients or team members
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in typesetting technology

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role in the print media industry
- Excellent attention to detail and strong knowledge of typography principles
- Proficient in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Familiarity with printing processes and file preparation for print production
- Ability to work under tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members

Salary: 1400$
Location: St. Petersburg, Russia (candidates from India preferred)
Employment type: Full-time with accommodation provided
